Permalink Reply by maysa hab rumman on March 29, 2009 at 10:45pm: Assalamu alaikom, I'd like to add a little headlines about azzuhd, as Ibn alqayyem aljawziyah wrote about it, 1st he considered azzuhd as status of this verse as Allah says ( Iyyaka na3budu wa Iyyaka nasta3een) sadaqa Allahu Al 3atheem, then Azzuhd as Ibn Taymiya says is to leave what does not of use in the last day, Sufyan Athawri says about Azzuhd is in this life to make your hope short, Yahya ben Mu'ath says Azzuhd devise generosity in what you own, and love devise generosity by soul, Ibn aljala' says it's looking to this life by vanishing eye so it'll be small in your eyes then it'll be easy to not looking for this life, Ibn khafeef says it's finding relaxing in exiting from property, the last Identify of Azzuhd as Allah says in Qur'an is ( Likay la ta'su ala ma fatakom wa la tafrahu bima atakum, wa LLAHU la yuhibbu kulla mukhtalin fakhur) sadaqa Allahu Al atheem, so Azzuhd is not being happy for what you have and not being sad for what you lose...; ▶ Reply to This
