Where are all the ballers in Riyadh at? Seriously we should start a group of players and meet up regularly... if you've got any ideas for public courts suitable for regular games please do share...

ali..ok i'm not in K.S.A and i know ali that u're talking about sth different of what i'm about to say... bs still concerning basketball...i think that all the countries of the middle east..starting with ksa..must organize real tournaments.. for girls..i mean yeah there are basketball clubs in jordan.syria, lebanon...for girls..but the problem is that the coaches,referees..all the organizers even most of audience..they're men..so still mixed..in a way or another..and since we claim that we are muslim countries..shouldn't we organize such activities only for girls..wella only guys have the right to play..well i might seem offensive..but i'm just sick of sexual stereotyping..and ofcourse of the globalization which is making mixed activities sth very normal..just hope that governments would consider sth like that..

Yeah although that's slightly off topic... sure I'm all for girls playing basketball so long as it's done within the boundaries of shariah... we all know the famous story of Muhammed (sallalahu alaihi wa sallam) and Aisha racing each other... isn't that playing? and sports? Besides I'm glad we can't play basketball together (guys and girls)... I'm sure you'd kick our behinds lol...
